Former school principal and classroom teacher, now University of Pennsylvania professor Joe Mazza will discuss the evolution of educational innovation while building connected learning communities. He will highlight how personal learning networks, or PLNs, can be built and utilized to connect teaching, learning, and leadership. Participants will learn about best practices in terms of social media in education for students, staff, leadership, and community; possibilities for professional development; the importance of technology policies and regulations; and how to create a culture of digital citizenship by example.
