This session will focus on family-school partnerships, and how educators can leverage a wide range of research based strategies to meet families and community "where they are." Objectives: 1) Identify "what works" without technology when engaging families, as dictated by a body of research. 2) Identify social media tools that provide a "menu of communications" for educators, leaders and parents in meeting families and community where they are. 3) Expose participants to exemplary practices happening around the world that speak to O1 & O2 while leveraging the very social media tools articulated.
